Morning all from a very overcast rural France. On granddaughter minding duties today. Need to visit baker to stock up on additional bread supplies as they all have very hearty appetites.
Morning all from a beautiful Autumnal morning in my part of the country. Coffee in hand as I watch the walnut tree across the road steadily shedding it's leaves, and running around beneath it one of the red squirrels looking for nuts. I have watched them find one, bury it, then return to find more for the winter store. They say that they don't remember where they have put them, but they survive each year, so maybe I needn't put a sign up saying nut store. (Best squirrel French of course.)
http://sportwitness.co.uk/spain-watford-star-accused-faking-test-prosecution-asking-two-years-jail/? A tad worrying - could Ighalo be about to serve a jail sentence? This might explain the last 6-7 months...
Why has this story not been covered by the wobby or any comment from the club or even the BBC could it be a porky ?
Who knows? If I remember rightly, the story about Troy wasn't released or commented on until well after the event either. As for the BBC, no surprise there - they wouldn't recognise a piece of news if they fell over it in the street.
Morning all, the smell of early autumn is around this morning as a neighbour down the far end of the hamlet has a bonfire. There is not even a light breeze, yet the smell has floated up in my direction. I have noticed in a few games this season that the surrounding of officials and giving them grief has largely stopped since the introduction of a yellow card for it. It seems to have worked quite well and is a good thing from my point of view.
The cynic in me says that players have merely changed to arguing, complaining and gesticulating from a distance instead. That's the behaviour that needs to be stopped.
