Said Leeds overachieved last season (said it twice). We underachieved hugely. Southampton are the only team who want to win this game. Leeds players giving them far too much time and respect; no pressure from us whereas whenever Leeds get possession, there's two or three Southampton players snapping at their heels. Not good enough. And Leicesterstan fan, **** off Lonergan has actually played well you idiot.
Tbh as Kaspar has played amzing for us so far and has been a steal for us at 1m, but it just shows that certain players are better with different people around them.. look at DJ campbell when he was with us.. he couldnt do much but he got in with others very well.. same happened with kaspar at leeds i guess

yea i hated seeing gradel go myself as i really liked him.. and some fans just like to wind leeds up.. myself included in that as i get it myself from my leeds fan mates but its not much fun when its the same thing over and over again..
So far Saint have the best attack, Leeds have the better defence (imho). Just hope our attack keep their edge! Sublime Lallana goal.
Something needs to change for Leeds. Move Howson back alongside Brown and get Nunez on. Clayton's been **** and I blame him for the goal. Hope Grayson tells them to buck their ideas up at half time.
I don't think Leeds have been bad, IMO Saints have just been much better. We've defended very well, a few nerves from Martin, otherwise solid. Leeds seem to be lacking a cutting edge, but I spose that's what you'd expect with their 2 main strikers missing. I think Saints will need Chaplow in the second half at some point to give them a bit of a harder tackler to compete when the challenges come flying in. I can also see De Ridder causing chaos against tired full backs, but I'm sure Leeds will come out fighting second half.
for an away team we've had plenty of possession just no cutting edge. We played a lot worse at times last season! The only difference between the teams for me is o'brien.. at fault for the first, at fault twice for the 2nd and at fault for their other chance. They've only had 3. Same as last season, individual errors cost us. and snoddy doesn't look fit to me.
All of this is true. I'd like to see Lees and Nunez on next half to replace Clayton and O'Brien who've been liabilities at the back. if McCormack continues to do nothing, bring Paynter on with 20 minutes to spare. Snodgrass has definitely been rushed in, though he's always labelled unfit and then he goes out and pulls some magic out of the box.
