Transfer News Today: Liverpool's £44m Italian Raid For Mane Replacement Gets Green Light http://bet.unibet.co.uk/football/pr...ools-ps44m-italian-raid-mane-replacement-gets
Still going to be with us after the African Nations cup. My worries he's costing more than the main man
Possibly. To be honest mate I didn't know what you were going on about at first as I hadn't clicked on the link. Can't see us spending that much money on one player though
I actually think he would be more likely to replace Sturridge, he is a very versatile player and is quite at home in a striking position.
I think this may possibly become the norm, with our transfers. 20-40 mil on one player rather than 50 mil on 4 players all at once. Not sure on the validity of this rumour, but i wouldn't be surprised and would hope for a more concentrated approach toward quality rather than quantity. We will make europe next year so we will need a good second string, plus as the utd game showed, it helps if when your 1st choice is injured you can bring in like for like, rather than having to shift the team about and bring in 70% fit players. We did have a huge squad, but it was full of dross, now its ben cleared out, we need to bring in quality and competition, not just cheap back up options.
I'd like to think we can get at least 6th but i agree. The minute we got a couple injuries we were unable to play the same game at all. The reality is there is not a reserve up top nor in midfield by the look of things. Sturridge doesnt suit. Origi is not quite there and can is more the holding player so..... Yeah. We go in europe we will need 4/5 players imo
