The attendances will be up this year due to the aforementioned concessions and rebate for finishing outside the play offs. I would never criticize and supporter/fan for not going at the moment. Most of us at sometime or other have had reason to stay away. Whilst I believe things are improving it was still mediocre fair on Tuesday night, so it is what it is.
Four points and having played very few of the better teams is crap. You are very easily pleased, At least it explains why you are content to live on the ahit side of the hills.
If we're talking apples v apples, the average attendance for first 7 home Championship matches over the last 2 seasons are as follows: 2015/16: 23,387 (Burnley, Sheff Wed, Brentford, Ipswich, Birmingham, Brighton, Blackburn) 2016/17: 23,697 (Birmingham, Fulham, Huddersfield, Blackburn, Ipswich, Barnsley, Wigan) (Similar quality of teams, and 3 exactly the same). We're talking a 1.3% increase. Insignificant. So no-one wins the argument! (Guess who's got too much time on his hands this evening? ).
Banter lost?...never, I love the banter on here, it's the sense of humour you have to be carefull of....
Indeed. Sheff wed alone would account for the difference. Plus the current trend game on game is downwards...
Great idea for removing splinters from the palm of your hand but not so sure it'd work on your arse. Sitting on a glass jar could prove dangerous
Back to football related issues I really hope we can address this unwelcome stat from the BBC and soon: No Championship side has conceded more goals in the 90th minute or later this season than Leeds (3).
LUFC v Wolves: Green, Ayling, Bartley, Jansson, Taylor, Phillips, O'Kane, Sacko, Vieira, Roofe, Wood. Subs: Silvestri, Cooper, Coyle, Mowatt, Grimes, Antonsson, Doukara.
The middle looks poor to me (apart from O'Kane) can't see us creating too many chances, looks far too many defensive minded players, we shall see, think I would have had Antonsson ahead of Vieira or even taken a gamble with Doukara
