Surprised to see quite so much rotation but Puel did say this is just another game! Van Dijk, Romeu and Tadic fill me with confidence.
Surprised about Fonte. OK with Austin because he can come on if needed, but Fonte won't get on without an injury.
I admire Puel, he's not afraid to rotate the squad for such a big match. Also, gives a positive message to every member of the squad that he trusts them to do the job.
Don't know what will happen today, but I am getting increasingly impressed with Puel. He is his own man and is managing the squad with a view to succeed in every match, but he doesn't treat any match (at this stage of the season) as more important. He believes in keeping the squad match fit.
I hope Icardi over hits his first touch & gets instantly burnt by the fans. Big risk by De Boer. Saying that, were I him, I'd be trying my very best tonight to get back on side with them......
I do understand the fans buying a half and half scarf....great souvenir (I know some people have an aversiion to them).
I've had a tear filled day already as it was my best friend's Mum's funeral today. I just know that the tears are going to flow again when Saints run onto the pitch tonight. So, so proud to be a Saints supporter
Franny Benali is one of the BT Sports pundits for the match (along with Kevin Davies) - and they haven't even put up sub-titles for the 'ampshire lad
Tell you what... it looks amazing from outside but now I'm inside.... Words can not describe how amazing this is as an arena... can only imagine what like when full! So, so proud!
