Afternoon all, Elland, I think Billy was meaning to use the Florist post on a new thread as it will generate a bit of discussion on its own. Personally, I'm stunned to hear that this has been going on. Seems to be matching Cellino blow by blow, yet you don't hear about it in the media. Cellino picks his nose and it's Armageddon. Seems to confirm our fears that we're still a target for the press even after all these wilderness years. It's not paranoia. Don't give a twopenny one for a Sprake thread. Great keeper, but soiled goods not worthy of our affection. End of. As for the crowds, that's another subject for discussion. We should be pleased to get 20k midweek in October with minimal visiting support, given our position. The thing is, there are many PL clubs who would like that crowd on a sunny Saturday, with a decent travelling support visiting! We've missed a generation, and we appear to be starting to address this with the expansion of the family stand (the whole of ESL now). My personal view is that we should be filling that cheese wedge with schoolkids & teachers for nowt, just to give them the taste. How much would it cost for a few stewards? A great investment IMO, & perhaps the beginning of a new wave of positive marketing of the club. We should also be getting the schoolkids in on free tours of the stadium too. Most will probably be bored rigid - but we don't need them all. Even if a small percentage get the bug, it's a terrific investment. No Bridcutt until the New Year? I think we'll survive without him, & a further opportunity to develop Viera & Phillips. No need to rush him & it'll be great to have the fresher legs for the final push. Same goes for Berardi - he's got to earn his place. Past record counts for nothing.

Its not a big issue, just a difference of opinion between the bovril drinking cardigan botherers who want to drone on and on about this player and that and the merits of 4-2-3-1, 4-4-2, 8-1-1 and those normal folk who have a life and want to have a general chat and bit of banter.
