All a bit odd, I can only imagine the thread being locked was down to gremlins in the machine and not intentionally done by a mod. Two great players in so many ways and barely anything in it on the pitch so for me it comes down to Messi being less punchable, so he's the one I prefer. I find it hard to appreciate a footballer when he grates on me like Ronaldo does.
Have you watched the Ronaldo movie? I've always liked him anyway but if you want to see how thoroughly decent a human being Ronaldo is, watch it. It's entertaining as well, of course, and there's a bit that ****s all over the theory that him and Messi ain't pals.
No and I don't plan to, I know he's not evil or anything but I can't stand the guy. Don't forget that everything in the film will have been okayed by Ronaldo's team, there won't be anything in there that he didn't want to be. Propaganda essentially.
Oh aye I get that, but what you can't fake is natural reaction and persona mate, I personally thing the lads an absolute legend, Portugals Beckham. What he's done away from football is staggering, Portugal, Madeira and Africa. He's an absolute gent like.
Hmm well that's not how I'd describe him but each to their own. You mention you can't fake natural reaction and I've seen dozens of them from him on the pitch that makes me want to punch him in the nose. He gives a lot of money to charity, fair play can't argue with that. Some people will do it for the positive publicity but he may not be one and it doesn't matter why they do it as long as they do.
