What a game! The first touch by Ozil for his first goal was quality, then when Sanchez went off Ozil was pressing from the front, encouraging the team forward when we started to sit deep, really leading from the front, next thing you know he bangs in another two goals! Brilliant game from him. Perez came on and made two goals, almost got one himself, good sub appearance from him, that's what he needs to do to get his opportunities. Coquelin totally closed up the midfield in the second half, intercepting, tackling, seemed to be all over the place. El Neny on for Cazorla as I predicted for the energy in midfield, him and Coquelin together cover a serious amount of ground. Mustafi and Koscielny continue to be dominant. Gibbs was really good, he's a very good backup to Monreal. Bellerin was good getting forward but dithered a bit at making choices in the final third. Oxocube showing some end product after I criticised him a bit at half time, fair play. Sanchez and Walcott off and able to get some rest was good too after there first half goals. No need to risk injuries for them as they are doing a lot for us at the moment. I really like the two of them playing together. Ospina had nothing to do second half after a quality first half. Iwobi didn't have time to do much. Overall a really good performance and a ruthless score line to go with it. And again I have to mention Ozil... He is hands down my favourite Arsenal player, Sauron..sorry, Ozil.. Sees all. His vision, his passing, his touch, his movement... What a player.
Good performance. Some TOP quality goals. That first Ozil goal in particular - that first touch!! Theo looking World Class at the minute also. Perez was good when he came on. The only downside really is Oxo still looked kinda mediocre
Ozil, Sanchez and Walcott were brilliant tonight. I know it's only Ludogorets, but they still shone brightly.
I like that when Sanchez drops deep or wide one of Ozil or Walcott seem to replace him through the middle and take up the CF spot. They are very fluid with there movement at the moment. And so far have all chipped in with a good number of goals (Ozil - 6, Sanchez - 6, Walcott - 8).
I see the muppets on the box are complaining about tweets and the Ludogorets keeper and God knows what else. They really hate it when Arsenal do well, and I enjoy watching them being miserable soooooooooo much. Owen looked like he had a prostate problem and Rio looked like he had swallowed a lemon. More 6-0s, and more tweetys please! Piss them off more.
Can you guys please do the same to Manchester United, please? It is about time you gave them a mighty trashing.
I don't care about the opposition. Being able to give a shoeing to a poor-average side is the sign of a strong team. It's been a while since we've had the swagger to do this and hopefully it breeds confidence rather than complacency. I'm also hoping AOC takes a long look at Theo and his change in attitude and takes advantage too.
