Ofcourse he will. And Stones will prove you wrong. Can you not see the stupid hypocrisy of your own post? To judge Stones on one game (or even a handful of games) is as stupid as the idiots who do the same with Pogba Stones will go on to be a class defender no doubt about it.

... Rio Ferdinand had his debut for Leeds at our place ..we won 3-0 and Gerry Taggart beat Rio in the air to score both of his goals ... Rio had a bit of a mare and left the pitch with chants of "what a waste of money" ringing in his ears ... as I recall, he went on to be a half decent centre back ... I suspect John Stones will do the same.
Not being bitter at all, I'm happy with the signing of Eric Bailly actually, he's been the better out of the 2, he was also cheaper than Stones as well.
