Carrying on the logic:
So it's best, in good left wing tradition, to reduce quality everywhere to make things "fairer" - so nobody has a lawyer, not prosecution or defence.
Some people may be cleverer than others - so clever criminals are more likely to get off - so nobody can say anything in court.
Now we have made everything fair, how do we decide who is guilty - toss a coin?
And there's me thinking that the present system is better!
