I'm saying that the language in Treaties is drafted tightly after careful thought to prevent unexpected outcomes. You claim there will be an unexpected outcome - show me the holes in the Treaty wording that would allow that.

We are going to chose to sign free trade agreements with other countries so they prevent it being a "Leap in the Dark"!

Given we've been through the courts on a number of the issues in the treaty, and over some changes the UK wanted to make but were limited, history shows there doesn't need to be specific 'holes' in the wording.

Perhaps you can give us this picture of how you see the EU developing along the tramlines you reckon the treaty contains.

Schengen suspended, refugees travelling through safe countries to arrive at a richer country, refugees going back to countries they said was unsafe for a holiday, 40 year old "child refugees".

That is partly agreed. But that's the something the U.K. has to sort out, it's not the fault of the EU.

I can't believe that people have so little humanity that they think any of that is important when lives are at stake

    lives at stake?
why would a "refugee" go back to a country he is supposedly fleeing from because of war, persecution or natural disaster - because they wanted a "holiday"?
    it doesn't stack up
how is a life at stake?

    The world has gone mad!
Somebody thinks that it is OK for somebody to "be a refugee from a country" then when they are accepted for asylum in another country they want to go back to the first country for a holiday! Why didn't they stay for a holiday instead of fleeing? Have things got better? I dont think it has in Syria.
Lives are at stake though. But they want to get in the queue for the recliners!

Back to that same argument about whether you help everyone knowing some will take advantage or help no one because some take advantage.

    I prefer the former .

One refugee went back knowing he was in great danger but was desperate to see his family. It is not happening every five minutes so don't infer it is.

If only we could get the refugees to wear the right badges to know which is which.

and why do many of them, with no family members in the UK, still cross the continent to try to get into the UK? they seem quite willing to get into knife fights and rape women while waiting

I don't know why they want to come to a country that has so many angry people who despise them. Probably because it is even worse where they came from. I assume that they get into knife fights and rape women for exactly the same reason as British people do
