[QUOTE="Chazz Rheinhold, post: 9821132, member: not just yet i'm not. Fit and fair test, do they have the cash, if we win on Sat the price goes up, a deal to sort with HCC and all the other things.
You are both paranoid and forgetful. You have forgotten that the Allams neither give a **** about what you think nor are they bothered (anymore) about the pathetic protests against them. They just want out.
Well the seller is Allam House, the sale is of a football club, and it price is £130M. Unless the Allams own another club then one must assume it is HCAFC.
OMG Can it be true!! There I was snoozing in my armchair when I heard Levy on LN say 'City sold for £130m' No..I must have been dreaming..Things like that don't happen to HCAFC..
It's a legal requirement, as a public company (though the jurisdiction appears to be Hong Kong, so I don't have direct legal knowledge, but it is bound to be similar to most westernised countries) that you notify when you have a potential take over close. In the U.K. This usually means when an offer to buy a certain % of shares has been made, or when a significant agreement is in place. This link shows the HK stock exchange has received notice the company has a notional but not legally binding agreement on a deal. It means it isn't sealed, but it's agreed and in consideration. It stops shady share dealing on the back of inside info... In simple terms. Allamhouse is the corporate entity. It isn't going to say Hull City !
bbc JUST RE He also said that the bbc had approached city regards the sale as of yet city have said nothing to he bbc, so it looks like another sky exclusive coming our way.
"As at the date of this announcement, the Board comprises Mr. Ip Kwok Kwong (Managing Director), Mr. Yip Chung Wai, David and Mr. Wu Di as executive Directors; Ms. Ma Lin as non-executive Director; and Mr. Tso Ping Cheong, Brian (Chairman), Mr. Chu Siu Lun, Ivan and Mr. So Chung Shing as independent non-executive Directors." New names? Presumably some of these will be the fit and proper persons who now have to pass the test. Have this lot cropped up before in any way? I've seen what OLM posted about one being a local graduate but the names look new in relation to previous media speculation?
I'm going to nod off again...Until I see some bloke in a sharp suit with deep trouser pockets walking onto the KC pitch waving a City scarf above his head...I won't believe it....Last time I saw that it was King prat Prescott at Brighton trying to be one of the lads. ****er...
Don't be fooled by this document. It looks very similar to an HP agreement I once signed with DFS for a sofa.
No no no. It's about buying 'Hull City Association Football Club'. It's repeated enough times in there. But we have always been called Hull City Tigers.
Could be the first of many ! http://www.hkexnews.hk/listedco/listconews/GEM/2016/0809/GLN20160809105.pdf
