So the UK MEP's got everything they wanted in that agreement yes? They didn't have to make a single compromise in order to come to that agreement?
If the UK MEP's say "this is how the UK populace want it", then whats to stop say, Latvia, from vetoing it and ****ing us over, because the proposed legislation has some ****ed up repercussion in their country that does not concern us one iota.

If we had the opportunity to vote for the commissioners(one from each country ) how would most people have any idea who vote for. Better for the elected governments to choose.

Different in detail, not in principle. But it would be better if the EU was a sovereign federal state with a properly elected government.

We were talking about employment law and specifically what's the issue with employment law rules being universal within the EU, and what's the tangible benefit to the working man of them coming back solely under Westminster's control?

You've sought to come back with the most ridiculous angle you could think of.

P.S. The EU doesn't set our benefits levels you clown

If there was a world government it would be able to raise taxes and spend them. Try to keep up....
All your arguments apply equal well to say Surrey and Cumbria which exist within the UK

My Oxford MP gets ****ed over by MPs from other parts of the UK in almost every vote. If you join a club you adopt its rules

    No mate <ok>

Pete has virtually everyone who's disagreed with him during this debate on ignore, including me, so my replies to his posts are for the benefit of those with sane mind, not him. However, given he's not reading them, I can call him what I like - bonus.
