Perhaps you should check your facts before making such statements. You always state that the table never lies. Well, after 13 games ... This season: 13th place, with 17 points Last season: 17th place, with 13 points In pure points, that is a 31% improvement in performance. As you say, the table never lies. 31% is not marginal, btw - applied to last year's total points, that would give us 77 points, which would have got us into the play-offs. This is significant, statistically, and as it's the league table not lying, I'm responding under your terms.
The bullshit match reports have now stopped thankfully. But the beatification of all players linked to Cellino just get my goat especially as he has never seen how ****e they really are. You might be belligerent (arnt we all) but at least you know what is really going on and say it as you SEE it.
Me I'm looking at the posts of people that have been the recent games, even prepared to believe Green might not be fooking useless, which was my first impression.
I actually enjoy his match reports. Although not an individual view, they are a composite that you can't argue with, really, unlike a personal view. Gives me food for thought at times. So you took the 'vowel bait' too. That's quite an admission from you - beaten at your own game
Cant argue but as you would tell me the table gathers more meaning the more games played. We have just played a group of clubs that we should on paper be beating (all the bottom 6 as of yesterday have been played). The next few fixtures will probably see more defeats and at 23 games we will in all likelihood IMO be 16th or 17th again. How many points are we above 17th right now? Not fishing, I haven't checked today.... Is that difference really meaningful progress. If this is going to turn into another hounding saga I am done with discussing this. We should probably agree to disagree right here nd see who ends up closer to where we are.
I have to say that I'm coming round to Green. I would also be comfortable with Silvestri. Both have faults and plusses. I still believe we should keep Silvestri as he has a future ahead of him, but tbh, I think the writing is on the wall for him.
If I was to win every time how boring would that be? I admit loads of stuff..... I admit I was wrong in how I dealt with our ( mine and yours) little disagreement and how my actions escalated the situation. Not sure you would view it as your finest hour either TBH.
Simple presentation of facts under your ultimate measuring tool. Not me, I'm off out on the piss again. Just about recovered enough. Leve the beer at £1 a pint over here, but the bottles of red at fifteen bob a bottle are too hard to resist.
when you say we've played all the bottom 6,have I missed something ? Don't remember Rotherham and Preston this season have we ?
Don't do that,Mighty said the same yesterday, was starting to think if Mighty was right this could be the end of the world.
To be fair to anyone who calls Lover out on almost every comment he makes are well within reason. Take yesterday for instance, anyone who would choose Silvestri, Bianchi and Antenucci in their best Leeds side of the last 12 years needs a good shoeing....that's unless its an elaborate wum, or he is paid to say it ....the fact he cant and wont back it up sums him up
When I saw those three names yesterday I nearly bit but then I thought... It is either his opinion and although I couldn't disagree more he is entitled to it or more likely it was just an attempt at being a wum
