We need a definitive starting point as well. Maybe @Jaidi can do some scouting for us on his travels tomorrow Open to suggestions anyone!!
Post game drinks might be slightly results dependant Nah, just being there is a result. That canal area does look worth a visit. You sure that's Milan and not Venice TLL?
I came across it by accident a couple of weeks ago and it's sort of just stuck in my head as a place I definitely want to visit. Hence the constant mentioning on here It's not too far from the centre either, though quite a trek from the San Siro:
dov è la festa? The easiest chat up line in the world is at our disposal. There really is no substitute for going up to a few locals and asking for recommendations. A pattern usually emerges
A couple of my mates have already set off this morning to Manchester(flights were significantly cheaper) 1.09 is about the best rate for those still in need of Euros - Debenhams have that or ASDA offer a price match.
please log in to view this image Checked in for the flight in 22hours!!!!!! ....the business class was a result as that was the cheapest on Expedia! When I chose economy it went up by £300!!!!!!!!!!
Can you imagine what the team feel like? Probably all saying, 'Just one more sleep.....and we'll be playing Southampton.'
Slice of Pizza and bottle of coke €5.50 at Duomo for a nice snack I have seen 10 euros for a panini (!) though that was in the galleria in front of Prada/Louis Vuitton
Getting silly excited now. Work today is pretty much a write-off while I have a last minute panic of how I'm getting from Bergamo to the game. Think I'm going to have miss out on the meet up sadly as I'm not landing til 16:30 and will need to hustle over sharpish to get there in time. One more sleep!!
We've had two holidays in Italy this year and found the best places by wandering in the general direction of where we were heading using the back streets and alleys. Stumbled across a glorious place in Verona to watch the Italians beat Germany in the Euros, brilliant hospitality and friendship, no need to mention the England result later.
You only have to go slightly away from any main tourist site in Italy to find far cheaper food with better service.
To everyone off to Milan, Have a brilliant time watching the mighty Saints beating Inter you lucky lucky buggers. Make sure you sing loud and proud so we can hear you when we are watching/listening to the game. I want tears in my eyes with pride. Love Whiteley Saint PS No trouble please it ain't Saintly.
