Amongst all the excitement and recent run of form, I forgot our record signing is close to making his debut
Matchday!!! BUUUZZZZZIINNNGGGG!!!! Edit: Oh wait, no it's not - ignore this *slowly skulks to other thread*
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...inkering_has_to_stop_in_the_San_Siro/?ref=mac Comment piece from the Echo suggesting that Puel must stop tinkering as the Milan game is so massive. I agree as a win would put us in such a strong position in the group and City (to me) is just another EPL game (and one with the odds against us). However, Puel has earned our trust, so we have to accept his decision. Pssst, play Austin, Claude.
I'd prefer a win there...purely as I will be there!!!!! Selfish, I know. But supporting the Saints for 39 years I have earned a little selfishness
Reminded me of one of my favourite football related videos, imagine if this was to happen in todays game...
I'd prefer a win there on purely football reasons too. No reason why we can't do both though Let's hope Barca give City the run around tonight and they've got Manc derby next week!
It seems that injuries are likely to prevent the 7 or 8 changes we've seen thus far. I expect the team to fly directly from Milan to Manchester so I doubt we will see players not traveling, a la Israel
Match isn't till Sunday...some players could still be left behind and flown to Manchester later. However, I'm sure all our best available players will be in the squad going to Milan....much easier journey than to Israel.
Flight CLJ680 is due out of Bournemouth to Milan at 11.00 this morning. I suspect the plane could be carrying the super saints
When it comes to managing a football club I think I would listen to Puel a long time before I would even think of discussing it with an Echo journalist.
Dear footballing gods, Please, please reward all those loyal Saints fans travelling with a great game. And a win. A big win. The biggest win in Saints history. The biggest win in Europa league history. The biggest win since time began. A win that could get us mentioned on Sky and reported in the papers. Thanks. Fran (aged 66 and a quarter years).
First pics from Saints have emerged: So far we have Forster Yoshida Jose Davis Virgil JWP Olomola Dusan Romeu
