Green had another good game and made a couple of good saves.

He's turned in to a decent buy and there's no complaints from anyone in the ground to be honest. His kicking is dodgy at times but he is a much, much better keeper than anyone we have had in recent times

Thought we had made a terrible signing when he first came, his confidence was shot and was making howler after howler. But monk seems to have sorted his head out and he is now clearly our best keeper.

If Dallas is our great white hope then God help us he's distinctly average at best

All pieces of a jigsaw, look at the difference O'Kane made when he arrived. Maybe these two as individuals don't seem a lot but as in cogs in the wheel maybe you are right.

I do think the cover has been decent but more importantly to us, we need Wood to last out a whole season. I think the last two games has dampened hopes of a top 6. After watching the Derby game I was very concerned about Sacko and Hernandez, they are not our answer but we have little option.

If it has taken Monk this long to realise Mowatt shouldn't be in the team we are in trouble, his only saving grace is it seems every coach to step through the door has the same problem in spotting it.

Maybe we don't operate at a fast enough pace on the training field so slowed down Mowatt is better?

I did think the worst after QPR but since then he hasn't put a foot wrong. We're playing well now, just lack a killer instinct that needs to be sorted quick

I've been a member of the wrist slasher club for about 4 years now, but this is like watching Barcelona compared to the **** we've been served up in recent years

I will have to take your word for it.... Too disillusioned to go ATM....
Results indicate that any improvement is smoke and mirrors, the league table wont tell lies the further into the season we go.
I am not qualified to comment on team performances in games I only see highlights of.

Oh, and chances of Monk been here next season to continue building a team less than 1% IMO.

Last night was frustrating as we played well but didn't finish them off, we cant keep doing that and only getting the first goal and sitting back with 20 to go.

But, there is massive room for improvement with this side and if the crook upstairs leaves Monk alone he will get us there or thereabouts. I don't think you would be too disappointed with the way we are playing, bite the bullet

Nope. The last games I enjoyed were the 5-1 at home to Huddersfield and beating Charlton 4-2 away. I stopped enjoying it. went to three or four games at the start of the season and it looks like football by financial spreadsheet to me......You hit the stumbling block and the root of our problems.

I am going to the Newcastle game and that will be my lot this season unless we have a meet up later in the season. Not a protest, I just cant be arsed with it!

I like the highlight vids that he does, and although I don't agree with every thing he says,he's not abusive, seems a nice enough guy,and Ii don't feel the need to abuse a fellow Leeds fan.To be honest I just don't get where your hate of him comes from.

I don't get it either - and it's not just Glory, tbf. There is someone else whose attitude I don't get either.

I disagree (with most of us, tbf) about some of LL's views, especially his blinkered view on Wood (did note the positive comment last night, LL! <ok>). I'd hazard a guess that he enjoys a wind-up himself, and his promotion of players whose names end in a vowel seem to be the (very successful) vehicle for this. I enjoy the response he gets, and have fallen for it myself, on occasion <doh>

As for abuse, the written word is difficult to interpret at times. You miss the intonation in the voice, sparkle in the eye etc. that would defuse the comments in a face to face situation. I know that I come over very aggressively at times, but those who have met me will probably (probably not - bastards! :emoticon-0173-middl) agree that I can explode in a colourful, expletive-ridden rant, yet have a broad grin on my face. Doesn't work on paper - especially if you forget the smilie :D. I put my hand up to abuse, but it's an inherent Glaswegian thing, and would be water off a duck's back to another Glaswegian. So don't take it personally, chaps, I'm just being playful. Perhaps I should end my truly aggressive rants with a #nosmiliesintended or some such thing? :D

So, LL, you'll continue to 'get it' from me, as will all others (well, perhaps not Shaks - how could you be aggressive with him?), but it will be based on the post content I reply to - not the personality. And I think that may be the crux of the matter on this board at time - sometimes people criticise people instead of their views. ALL opinions are allowed on here.

I am consistent, I just look at the league table... ... no progress.
No increase in attendances would tend to suggest others are not seeing progress. if we were decent there would be 30k there no matter who we played or at what time.

    What are you looking at?
