Lpool's supposed dominance of the game has been blown out of complete proportion. Yes, you had a strong 15 odd minute spell in the second half where it was all liverpool but Utd were the better and more attacking side for the whole first half. It was hardly the alamo, mate
what you on about now.. ive seen no such "dominance" talk? i never said it was the alamo? or anything near that, or read anyone on here say near that either? ill say, utd were comfortable except for the last 30mins of the game and 10 mins at the end of the 1st half. anyone who watched the game could see moureen arrived with one goal. not to lose, he achieved that and people are gonna pull him up about it right or wrong.
Having glanced over the Liverpool board the overriding opinion seems to be that pool were on the attack and had utd pinned in ther own 18 yard box for ninety minutes. So you reckon utd came and 'parked the bus' yet you can't understand why someone gets the impression you believe that Lpool dominated proceedings ?
i dont go over the liverpool board much, full of nutters yes i reckon anyone with eyes reckons utd came and parked the bus. are you saying you watched the game and have the opinion that utd came and attacked us? or even had an intention to with any real purpose? cos that would be quite as i said earlier you expect that from lesser teams like stoke or yourselves.. not utd and thats why they are getting stick in the media i suppose.
They parked the bus for about 20 minutes when Liverpool came into their stride. Utd were the better side for large periods of the game, particularly in the first half and Liverpool hadn't the quality to break them down towards the end
so what were they doing the other 70 mins of the game? it certainly wasnt spent camped in our box peppering shots at our keeper was it moureen knows we are the better side, thats why he set up the way he did, its not like hes not notorious for it anyway, a draw was a fair result, get over it
He has a thing about Anfield. He always used to set up like that when we used to play there. Even though he had a far better side than he has now.
