We have money to spend left over from the Sissoko deal so will be sat on around £30m. Who do we go buy and for how much? I think we need an AM and possibly a striker but that's about it for me really. I'd save the cash and spend it in the summer.
I think a number 10 is all we need. There is even an argument for recalling Arma and giving him a run. We need to retain our budget for the summer and ensure we have a warchest because big changes will be required.
I hate to pour cold water on this thread but surely we will only know what we will need closer to January and will depend on our league position and injury situation at the time.

Yes why not I see no obstacles seen as he has pissed off his current manager, er I mean his current manager has mistakenly took weight/attitude as important factors in a player make up. I'm not fattist either, I put up with you for instance.

christ I am somebody who is never really happy, but you guys are getting me down , come on this side has not even clicked yet and we are winning games for fun. Can you not be just happy with how things are going rather than continually being on a downer about the possible lack of premiership quality within the squad are we not plying our trade in the championship after all. For example who's to say Gayle couldn't cut it, he was palaces top goalscorer two seasons running with minimal starts (In the premier league), he is getting a consistent run and is proving that he is a prolific goalscorer irrespective of the division. This is just an example of one player but I think you are being incredibly overly critical of our players. In my opinion there is a spine of potential premier league quality within the current squad and it is the most balanced we have had for a bloody decade, couple that with a highly competent manager again one of the best we have had in an age, and you are still not happy guys, please get a grip of reality and try to enjoy the journey, for me this is the most positive I have been as a toon supporter in an age and I am loving it!
Well said, that man! We've had do much doom and gloom in recent years, I think people have forgotten how to enjoy it. Should've been there in the late 70s/early 80s if you wanted something to be properly miserable about.
If Premier League quality players become available we can sign them in January, otherwise we don't really need anything to be honest. Maybe if we have injuries to key players we should sign someone but that's it.
I am loving the Championship it's great to have a team and manager to be proud of and I am extremely proud to be a toon supporter it's great for our city and its residents
Good to see you mate. I have utter blind faith in Rafa and am trusting everything he does. The team is still gelling and we are winning games at a canter.
