Alright Lads,

I thought it might be worth making a thread where we can put our prediction for title winners in at an early stage with no option of changing!

This could of course bring a few 'Hiag' moments to the table to the amusement of everyone else <ok>

Or, are Spurs going to win the title this year? Definitely in with a shout.

Can Arsenal finally put a consistently strong season in rather than looking very good in patches?

Can Liverpool keep picking up 3 points or will they continue to struggle against the smaller teams?

Can Chelsea or United put in a challenge or will City romp it?

What do you think?

I know Chelsea and United won't.

The others are all in with a good chance.

You not reckon Chelsea might be in with a chance without Europe?

I'm also inclined after last night to say United wont either.

I don't think they will. They are doing orite....but I see at least 4 other teams up to the task a bit better than them. This season they are a 1 man team. Just wait till Costa is not playing. Everyone else is average in that team. I'd cash in on Hazard...he's been long found out.

On last night's evidence neither United or Liverpool will. Mourinho still trying to sort out the mess left by van Gaal, we'll be better next year.

Liverpool have a ****e centre midfield, both of the players who were there last night are gash, a ****e centre forward and two dodgy keepers. No way are they winning it.

Sadly, I think City will win it this year as the rest of the competition will take points from each other while they have the beating of most when they are on form. Arsenal will push them closest this time, which seems weird to even say it.

I think top four is;

City
Arsenal
United
Spurs or Liverpool.

Just on this point. Last night we were forced to play Can, he's not to the level we need (currently). I know Jimmy and others worship him, but he's not mobile enough for Klopps style imo.

However, When we play a midfield 3 of Wijnaldem, Hendo, and Lallana we're devastating in midfield. It's probably been the best midfield 3 in the PL this season (I'm sure some nerd could gets stats to show that).

So yes, possibly not enough depth. But without many distractions and with those 3 playing, we're brilliant in midfield.

Arsenal are in with a really good shout this year. We've finally addressed weaknesses in the squad (GK, CB, DM) but I think our lack of clinical striker could cost us, although scoring hasn't been a problem so far.

Still think the title is City's to lose though.

Arsenal had a very good transfer window, granted.

I still think you need a CF though. Although I'd play Sanchez as a 9 for the whole season and see what happens.

Very good chance this year, not quite Liverpool's level yet (as we saw when we played you), but you're getting there.

Are you saying that Liverpool will finish above Arsenal ?

Yes are you daring to make a prediction . It could be used against you. You may be labelled a major **** up like lol. Your life may not be worth living.

Say No bruh....don't say "yes"

Three horse race imo.

City
Arsenal
Spurs

Its hard to bet against City but I reckon Spurs are going to run close and Arsenal will probably be on their coat tails too with the possibility of nicking it.

I think a lot will depend on how well Spurs' squad copes with CL football and premier league games when they come thick and fast. They've got something like 7 games in a month coming up now. It should be an indicator of how they will cope this season. Personally I think they will flatter to decive, bottling it at the sharp end of the season again.

It can only be between City, Arsenal & Chelsea others just don't measure up and Londons remaining teams are a joke.

IMHO the ominous thing is that they are ticking over quite well when you know
how Pep wants them to play has not yet been fully engrained into the squad.
Conversely it only took De Bruyne being out to lower their attacking threat, and
their defence is fragile against ferocious pressure.

So if they win the PL, IMHO they will not be miles ahead of the rest.

Pixie, like all Gooners, was far too arrogant to see that, in fact, the North London Power-Shift is real, and West Ham would be looking to overtake Arsenal, whilst Spurs chased the title!

Can we expect another prediction like this one from HIAB ?
