The official stats say 3 to 1 but I definitely saw Karius catch the ball on his goal line 3 times, they may have been deflected but still on target <ok>

Its tht thing where you try to beat the opposition and stop them scoring.
All teams that stop Liverpool scoring are boring (apparently) :emoticon-0100-smile

Are you worried that you dominated a game for 70 minutes against a team who has a **** defence and not kept a clean sheet all season, had the useless Can in midfield, and yet you didn't manage any efforts other than an Ibra header back further away from goal.

Whats going to happen when you come up against a team that has a decent defence, are you going to be able to break them down? Or when you come up against a team that dominates the game against you like City for example? If you can't beat a poor team after dominating for so long, can't imagine what's going to happen when come up against a decent team?

Yes, yes I am. We will (and have) come up against much better defences than Liverpool and must find a way past them. I think playing Rashford next to Zlatan or just to the left will help but we cant afford too many more games slip against poor teams like tonight.

    Yep :(

I was really worried about your attack tonight, 20 mins in it became apparent they are only any good if you allow them the space and time to do what they want, other than that they are clueless.

Just got home, gotta say I've been going to man u Liverpool games for a lonnnnnnnnng time, even in Sexton's day they gave us a game, Maureen is so anti-exciting football its ridiculous, united are renowned for their swashbuckling style of play, can't believe after the money spent and the boring tactics he'll be at OT much longer if he sticks to the ****e bus parking I witnessed tonight.

I'd agree up to a point -still took a couple of pretty good saves from Dave and an heroic last ditch tackle to keep the clueless ones out though.

Where as when Bailly and Smalling were camped on the halfway line for most of the first half, Liverpool were the most attacking team in le world :emoticon-0100-smile

Have you ever known a man u side in your lifetime to come to Anfield and play as boringly anti-football as Jose served up tonight?
Even when we were a million miles better than Utd they raised their game against us, but being honest Utd tonight were not what they have been in games against us for as long as I can remember.

Yep, that is Dave's job (and he does it quite well). Unfortunately the attack haven't been doing theirs for the last few years.

Did you watch the match you went to? we had total control of the game for 60/65 mns and were the only team that looked like scoring. If you mean we didn't let you walk through us, fair enough, we don't do that game.

You're putting a brave face on Diego, and I admire that - but you must secretly be worried about how you're going to get out of this.
We've been pretty average for a long time now, but we appear to be on the up - you're going the other way. Try as you might you can't regain the success of the Fergie years, and the desperate attempts to find a solution are making you play a type of football that must be painful to watch after what you've grown used to.
Mourinho and Utd are strange bedfellows.
