    No religion. On the other hand, what has Christmas to do with religion nowadays? Though some middle-class liberals think we shouldn't mention it in case we offend certain groups. Despite those certain groups saying it doesn't bother them in the slightest.

    I think I read on this board that one of the bidders only wanted Hull City not the SMC. The SMC is losing money hand over fist and the Allams don't want to keep it, especially as Hull City will no longer be lending it any money to keep it going.

    Isn't the other led by Adam Pearson? That may explain their reluctance to sell.

    Alternatively both consortia may be holding out for a sharp reduction in the price as they watch us slide down the table.

    I'm not in the know.
