I tell you what pisses me off - all the people on twitter and BBC sport website moaning about Mourinho being a 'negative, defensive, dull' manager. Youd almost forget that he managed the highest scoring champions of a major European league in history. If you were a ****, that is.
Mourinho's tactics seem to be working so far - no great wall of sound from the Anfield hordes... You could say 'boring', but the Mancs are holding the scousers so far.
What an amazing keeper De Gea is!!!...... he's been Mancs player of the year for the last 3 seasons at least.. !!
Not at all. As an ex-sweeper,I thought it was a great exhibition of 2 teams defending well based on two exceptional tactical performances by the respective managers. You sound like so many North American sports fans who are not satisfied without seeing a mass of "scores" in a game (goals, points, runs, touchdowns etc). To me, it's was great entertainment.
No mate - we all see things through different lenses. To me it was a tremendous tactical battle between two excellent managers. Both sets of players tried to combat it, but stuck to their instructions given. Pity Phelan didn't employ any of that on Satdee past
Fair enough. Both Mourinho & Klopp seemed to think it was close but well fought. Dull is in the eye of the beholder
Agree with your assessment having just finished watching the game on Liverpool TV. The only other match I watched over the weekend - Man City v Everton - was far more interesting.
Never watched it My second team is Stockport County as one of my best mates follows them home and away.
Enjoyed it. Tough game for all involved so a good point for Man United and a disappointment for Liverpool.
