Yep, I think be good to meet up in one (let's face it we'll be in our comfort zones entering one alone), but once we have a few of us, how about venturing into the 'real' Milan ?

 

Although Franco has been dead for over 40 years, his legacy in terms of administrative procedures still pervades every corridor of Government and its institutions. Same in Italy and the ghosts of Mussolini still seem active.

Yep and I can get past the 'no bags' rule in the San Siro - just take it off, fold it up and put it in my pocket, along with my passport and money

Actually, Whenever abroad, I always have cash in my 'secret' jean pocket (you know the one at the front on the right), my wallet in one pocket and a debit card in a totally separate pocket to cover all eventualities. I'll also now have a passport and another card in a bum bag. I'm just getting too sensible. However, after couple of drinks, that will soon stop

 

Oh certainly, I've just suggested one of those as a starting point and a 'home from home'. Certainly want to go to other places a bit more cultured though! Post match will be even better for that as well.

There will be plenty I'm sure that stick to the square and local area. That's not for me though.

I'm going to do some more research tomorrow evening. Still waiting on some suggestions from others too

 

Yep, tomorrow is a 'google day' for all things Milan for me

 

My passport is going in a lanyard. I've got an old one and will wear it under my tshirt so I can always feel it against my skin.

Small amounts of money in different pockets and large amount ballsed up.

I don't think it will be too bad anyway just gotta be careful in crowded areas on trams/metro etc.

 

Are you flying from Stansted by any chance? If so, you want to meet on the way?
