In eight premier league games so far this season, the Mackems have managed to get themselves into the lead in only two of them. They were in the lead for 41 minutes of playing time against Palace (even including 4 minutes of injury time but not counting the length of the half time break) and 5 minutes against Southampton. That's 46 minutes of being-in-the-lead football.....wow! That's one half of a game of football in front in eight games compared to fifteen halves either losing or drawing. Now you why the Mackems are so pissed off that they are no longer posting!
Anyone fancy invading their board? Is there anyone left over there? The only team in the top five divisions of English football not to have won a game this season! Their last premier league victory was in May! The last Tyne and Wear team to have won a Premier League match was us.....and we are nearly into November! I wonder if they now wish they were playing burton Albion, they might actually win a game
Eight games in and already the Mackems are seventeen points behind the leaders and fourteen points off a champions league spot. Ah well, I guess a first trip to Milan will just have to wait

Depressing time to be a mackem, rooted to the bottom, everyone hating the owner, players not giving a ****, hard to imagine them actually winning a match...very reminiscent our 08/09 season! Was about to feel sorry for them, but then remembered its Sunderland...
If their current form continues they will get it in spades of us lot. Shame they won't hang around though.
