Jose Mourinho admits Wayne Rooney is 'hurt' by fall from grace - but is set to bench him again http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/jose-mourinho-admits-wayne-rooney-9059237
Looking at the teams and how both have been performing, I'm inclined to say Liverpool win too. However, I can't ignore the Mourinho factor. He always pisses on our parade! He'll drain the life out of an attempt of a game breaking out too.

Looking forward to this one. Mourinho will try and stifle the game for at least 25 minutes imo. In fairness the way you've been playing going forwards, who could blame him? The danger for you lot is getting done on the counter and from set pieces, United are a big side and I'd fancy them to have the beating of your back line in the air.
yeah you've called it exactly IMO. If LFC do actually have a intense game in them (2 CMs out who are directly part of that intensity) then utd need to see that off be it 25mins or 40mins. they will have faith that chances will come. If they panic then thats their issue.
The Seven Dwarves would give our defence a problem - it's not just about height. I don't have a lot of confidence in us keeping them out, but I think we can do the job at the other end. This game has been a bloody long time coming, I hope it lives up to the hype.
I dunno about that now... I think that is going a bit far cos aside from lucas's hilarious effort a few weeks abck most of the goals we are conceding are directly related to just getting beat iin the air or sedon balls on set piece.
e.g. hull... clyne was poor let his man go and second ball falls right to the guy. swansea goal.. clyne isolated by swansa at corner as weak link. header for goal. etc etc...
Phuck me.. 31 pages... mostly waffle I assume Surely the game must have finished by now? Had a ticket for this game.. but couldn't get time off work.. If we win, I may hand in my notice tomorrow out of moral outrage for not being able to attend. If we lose, I'll keep quite, sobbing in the corner of the office...
How can Anthony Taylor have a good performance knowing his house in Greater Manchester is probably being burgled while he's away? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-37675697 please log in to view this image
Referee Anthony Taylor Dropped By FA After Arsenal Horror Show Referee Anthony Taylor has been dropped by the FA for this weekends Premier League fixtures after his horror show at the Emirates on Saturday. While our 3-1 loss can’t be blamed solely on his inept performance, it certainly was a contributing factor as Taylor got several decisions wrong throughout the 90 minutes. As well as giving a number of contentious free-kicks for minor offences, Taylor also drew criticism for a few of the more decisive decisions. He awarded Villa a penalty even though he had allowed advantage after Szczesny had brought down Agbonlahor in the area. There would have been no complaints had he pointed to the spot straight away but he waived play-on as the goal was at their mercy, but when the Villa player sent the ball wide he awarded a penalty giving the away side a second bite at the cherry. http://www.arsenalstation.com/2013/...ylor-dropped-by-fa-after-arsenal-horror-show/
Despite all the build up it will probably be a very boring game with Utd winning from a disputed penalty or offside goal in the 11th minute of extra time.
