I have never inferred that any of your comments were untrue, yours just happened to be the last post for me to quote
I know it seems like everything to a lot of you Northern types and Sky are hyping it for all they're worth. However, neither of you are the best team up there any more, are you? Citeh v Everton is more likely to produce the champions, isn't it? In London, it's very much seen as yesteryear's champions against a team that thinks it's going to make it into the CL and misses out on the EL. It's exactly the same as Chelsea v West Ham down here. I mean, just how excited are you by Chelsea v West Ham?
Means nothing more than any other game to me at this stage of the season (3 points and bragging rights to the victor), if there was five or six games to go and we were both in with a chance of winning something then it would By the way, last 4 league winners Leicester, Chelsea, City, United. So after 3 years off the top I wouldn't write us off too quickly, when was your last title?
See how rapidly it's all become about the past since Fergie left? It's about who wins it next. This is why tomorrow's just not that important.
Does anyone understand this ? I'm trying to identify the trend, but im struggling. Must be missing SOMETHING.
The trend is, we haven't won it for 4 years, City for 3 and Chelsea for 2 yet people write us off and think City are nailed on
I thought he meant that 4 years and 3 managers ago, they had a good season. Given that all the best players in that team have left apart from the goalkeeper and they're in their third rebuilding phase since then. City got nailed down here. Unlike Mr Mourinho, Mauricio Pochettino knows how to beat Pep. The reason people are writing you off is not Pep, it's your unbalanced team and very poor defence.
Nope 1 rebuilding phase that has lasted 3 years (Fergie had similar periods of rebuilding). How long has your rebuilding been going on now? Like Liverpool, I suspect you could have rebuilt the great pyramid quicker.
Your rebuilding's just started, again. Mourinho will be selling half of them again next summer when you finish outside the top 4 again. It's that treadmill of new manager, new players, new low in performance....new manager, new players, new low in perfomance....new manager You're 3 managers in and it's not getting any better is it? God forbid those Mousers win tomorrow. What will Mourinho do then/?
