We dont need Wes because simply put were having no trouble going forward and creating goal scoring oppurtunities so why do we need a creative midfeilder, do we want to beat teams in double digits? (sure it would be nice but its not neccesary) what we need is a quality defensive mid, someone to hassle the likes of xavi and iniesta, and that someone sure as hell isn't sneijder. Modric would be ideal for Utd, as well as being creative he puts in a lot of tackles and does his share of defensive work. Failing that, you can have Wilson Palacios off us for £10million

That formation (and lineup) is exactly what I said weeks ago, and De Rossi was the player I also mentioned as being perfect for the formation, but to be honest I think Anderson could quite easily play as the other DM.
Weve spent over 50 million this summer, thats as much as City have spent, its just not good sense to spend 35 million and 200,000 plus weeks wages on a player whos turning 28. And ill have you know barcelona are broke aswell. It's funny the two best teams in football today dont have super mega rich owners, it shows that presteige, history and attitude go along way.

Most people have this perception that we need an attacking midfielder because they want goals from there like Scholes used to 6+ years ago. We have no problem creating but we do have a problem in assertion of our midfield but a ball winning midfielder isn't a necessity either. If Fletcher gets back to the fitness and form he showed for a number of seasons before last and Carrick can continue his form from last season then straight away we have a box to box midfielder and someone who is good in possesion. Not to mention that we have the ball carrying abilities that Giggs and Anderson have, not to mention their goal threat as well and technically we should have bases covered in midfield. Cleverley could play in a role that Giggs is playing now and the likes of Pogba and Tunniclife have the ability to bring destruction with flair to the centre of midfield.

Jezz I beleive Young will fit in perfectly, hes quick, can shoot, quality at set pieces and has a better range of passing. Valencia is probably quicker, stronger on the ball and a better crosser. It will be an interesting battle between nani, young and valencia this season but i fully expect all 3 to up their game which will benefit us nicely
Yes but to counterattack you need someone to win you the ball and as evident carrick cannot do that on his own against the likes of xavi and iniesta (Btw Carrick is quality he contributed so much in the second half of the season, i cant fathom why people blame him for our loss against barca)
i think that if we somehow have a situation where we play rooney up top we will have valencia in no doubt. The battle for wing places will be intense and hopefully they'll all be up for it. should also help keep them fresh in the long run.

There two average teams, italian football is mediocre, and hasn't got the appeal of the premier league or La liga, it has been surpassed by the bundesliga ffs, don't be surprised if ligue 1 becomes better than that piece of garbage league aswell
