I used to do this the last time we were in the EPL. What a crap day to start again... Thanks Stan. Always enjoyed these last time around. These articles are brought to you by the word 'hapless' and the phrase 'chasing shadows for twenty five minutes'.
Thanks, Ern - it makes for pretty dismal Sunday morning reading, though. It'd be better if I hadn't watched a stream of the game - but at least the 'buffering' spared me from some dire moves...
The table doesn't make pleasant reading either. Take out those first two games and we've got the worst set of results in the entire league over the last six. We've got the worst goal difference and conceded the most by a clear four goals. Bournemouth, by the way, scored as many goals yesterday as they had so far, in every game, this season.
Bournemouth's biggest ever PL victory. Tells you something about the magnitude of our collapse. Bournemouth only paid £2m more for Ibe than we paid for Mason. Ibe controlled the game yesterday.
I went. Whilst I do like to read the round up and appreciate the links Stan, I can't live through that again. I'll give this week a miss if that's ok.
Maybe not 3-4 weeks ago when Stoke were bottom of the table. Our revival might be just around the corner... Wishful thinking there.
