Just go with two at the back. Our defence isn't worthy of the word so I can't see the point in wasting spots in the team on defenders.
wow. all I can say is wow. youd think wed just gone out the football league. were what? 8 games into the season?
Todays performance was very worrying and in this league you can go on big losing streaks and your confidence is gone. Also you don't bounce back from 6-1 defeats against Bournemouth (no disrespect) just like that and Stoke are unbeaten in 3.
If the players did take Bournemouth lightly, then some bums need kicking.. Starting with Phebes kicking his own arse.
You didn't miss much, not from our players anyway, I think most of them missed the game also. How Phelan can come on and say perhaps he was too naive in the 2nd half, chasing the game and leaving us open, hello, he brought on Dio, Huddlestone and Meyler! Defending was non existent, wouldn't describe as school boy defending, that would be an insult to school boys. Credit to the travelling support though, who deserve so much better, they turned up, so should the team. Safe journey back.
Been working a 12 hour shift so ive seen or heard nothing. Was it that bad ?? Should we be that surprised that a club that is run by a pair of nasty bitter Clowns should put in a performance that resembles Billy Smarts Circus.
Big up to anyone that went.... you deserve nothing less than a full apology and your entrance fee back...
The buck stops with the Allams. Simple. If they'd sold up like they'd said they would, we wouldn't have the lack of depth in our squad 2 (injured) full backs, we probably wouldn't have Phelan in charge regardless of how good/bad you think he's been, we would've have had Will Keane as a lone striker today and we wouldn't have lost 6-1 to Bournemouth. ALLAM OUT.
We've been spanked by a team that will finish in and around the relegation places. I know how Fulham felt after we spanked them at our place. That's an alarm bells ringing relegation beckoning performance. The early season bravado is gone.
Don't think they will finish in or around the relegation places. Good manager, a chairman who backs him without interfering and a far better squad than ours.
No he wasn't. Given what was going on behind him he did ok. His touch was quite good and he worked hard. Your comment is ridiculous.
The 6-0 hammering of Fulham came close to Christmas. We are now where near there yet...Plenty of time to get it right....If they do is another matter of course.
