I never said he was the problem. My issue is the message it sends to the team of dropping someone who was performing perfectly well to accommodate a new signing.
I don't even know where to start with today. We were ****e the entire game. I would try and break down and work out what happened for each individual goal but I can't remember which was which. I've travelled well in excess of 1,000 to get to my last two games; today and Liverpool. And for what?! 11 goals conceded. I've got a ticket for Bristol on Tuesday week as well as Watford, I'll be at Watford regardless, but I don't know if I can face another 400+ mile round trip if we're not going to turn up. Especially as I'm a 21 year old struggling to get work so would take a hefty percentage of my money for the rest of the month. Okay, Bournemouth were a well organised team today. But they're no world beaters. If we'd have played Pep's Man City or a team like that we'd have been on the end of something record breaking. You can almost expect a 5-1 when you're 2-0 down and a man down at Anfield for an hour. But today was shambolic! I've defended Marshall a lot on here and he can't be blamed for all of the goals. But he was awful today, distribution, reactions. Just wasn't at it. Robbo, was probably our biggest threat until he went off. Now because of our cretinous owners we'll be playing a 17 year old at LB for a while it seems. Curtis really struggled today, was good with such things as interceptions and headed clearances. But he's not a ball playing defender and Bournemouth really played to that. Harry, as I said at half time had been our most creative player in the first 45. And that's depressing enough. Elmo, just go. Absolutely no heart or defensive awareness, left Ibe on his own far too many times, if Brucey wants him at Villa then get him gone, Moses can't come back soon enough. Maloney was our biggest aerial threat in that first half, all 3ft 6 of him. Clucas, arguably the best of the bad bunch today. Couldn't commit too much after picking up a booking though but linked up well with Robbo until he went off and he's no full back so no surprise when they got in behind him. Jake, just couldn't get a pass in today. And couldn't cope too well physically. Mason, too many passes went a stray. Definitely a tidy player, but largely ineffective. Scored but only because of the enormous deflection. Snoddy, our worst player today. Looked tired, fed up, frustrated. Just didn't seem upto it. Very unlike him. Will Keane, hard worker, but he was either on his own or with Dio, who I don't rate as a premier league player. Isolated. Absolutely furious. For the second away game in a row I've left utterly speechless at what I've just seen. So much wrong at this club and we don't even have the results, nor the performances to take our mind of what's going on behind the scenes.
Eh? 6 times?? Bournemouth were much the better team Which is a worry as they've only been in the PL for one season before now
These are the things that happen when you start a season with 12 players, take 3 months to appoint a manager, have no RB and rely on bargain basement dross like Will Keane to score you goals. If you fail to prepare then you prepare to fail.
Missed the game completely today! Still pissed off with the result. Just seen Davies on SSN, said we were gutless. Probably sums it up!
Just listened to the Curtis interview on Blunder..If the players underestimated Bournemouth as is the suggestion, then that is CRIMINAL. Players should be digging deep to pay the fans who went down there and will now be sitting in silence on the way back...
Has anyone cracked the #Purple Pain, Purple Pain# gag yet? 6-1...bunch of jokers. Ah well, see you all at The KCOM for Stoke.
Mind you this might be a blessing in disguise this defeat,Ehab might think **** this i better sell while i can before no one will buy us,then a new owner comes in sacks phelan and brings in a decent manager and invests some money to get players that give a ****.
The owners, players and management should hang their heads in shame after today, especially considering fans like yourself have spent good money to seemingly watch bad rubbish. To anyone that wants to defend the team today, losing 6-1 to a team that should be one of our closer rivals for PL points is a total disgrace, embarrassment and indefensible!
