against Liverpool? we were reduced to 10 men. against Arsenal? we were reduced to 10 men. manU didnt win till extra time. Bournemouth got lucky. so yes Phelan out then.. I think I will wear my pampers cos my knickers are so wet.
I think predicting us to fall through the leagues is a little premature, even saying we are nailed on for relegation is going too far. I always said I didn't mind losing a game 3-1/4-1 if we gave it a good go and attacked the opposition. I often criticised Bruce for being too negative and not wanting to take a risk. The issue with today's result is we haven't actually gone out playing attacking football and played three upfront. We have lost 6-1 whilst playing a system that is built to contain the opposition and with one striker on the pitch who has never started a Premier League game before. There is losing, and there is losing with pride. I think today the teams collapsed and for me that's not good enough.
Anyway, back on Wednesday, 4th of August 1971, Hull City beat Japan 5-0. Did that country give up? No. And we should not!
Bournemouth got lucky. Yes when they got a good manager who gets his team to play good football and backed him,a chairman who has backed the manager, £80million in last 3 transfer windows to recruit better players than we did, a chairman who hasn't pissed everyone off and remains in the background. (He was, unlike ours or his son, at the game.) Yes, very lucky.
Probably, but we wouldn't have conceded this many plus we'd have had the players in he wanted and early so we'd have been playing as a team. The Allam's clearly didn't want him and ****ed him about leading to chaos like we're currently witnessing.
chazz? youre carrying on like weve been relegated were not even a dozen games in and youre already slitting your wrists. calm down man.
I can see that you ****s just wanna throw a hissy fit. there are no easy games in PL. MP has inherited this poor squad from SB. <shrug>
Your right Mr Happy Of course I wanted us to win. Still had a great day despite the score I had 3 years of bad days when I couldn't go to games. I never thought I would get to a game again. I never have a bad day now because I am still here and others are not. Roll on Stoke at home and watford away.
