Evans in the book. Professional foul. Cynical.

Really fear for him...good effort, nice touches, but...and for a striker it's a big one...he is **** in front of goal

Foster with another superb save. Should've been off for timewasting, though. <whistle>

Poor second half up until Chadli scored and then all of a sudden we woke up. When you look at our chances we really should have scored more than one but those are the breaks, Foster was excellent to be fair.

Edit: my mistake, didn't see City equalised so they stay top. Thank **** for that :D

Disappointing but Foster kept them in it with 5 sickeningly good saves. Still, we went behind and came back which is worth a great deal in terms of morale and proving that this team does have heart, Citeh draw at home to Everton. Okay Arsenal won at home to Swansea but only just. Not an awful day....apart from Toby.<wah>

1-1 FT. Frustrated by the anti-football arsehole, again.
Looked well off our game though and I'm fairly happy with the draw.
Couldn't see it happening, once we went behind. Nearly nicked it at the death, though.

The international break cost us momentum, players, sharpness and fitness and it showed.
Son's absence was felt, but I think that Rose's was even more obvious.
Davies did pretty well in the first half, but wasn't an attacking threat at all in the second.

Losing Alderweireld's the biggest blow. Hope it's only a short lay-off, but it didn't look good.
Carter-Vickers, Dier or Wimmer in the meantime? Could be a really big decision, for lots of reasons.

Never looked like we'd score but what a fantastic response to going 1 down so late on.
Have to be pleased with a point in those circumstances tbh.
    Leaves us 3rd

When we lost Vertonghen last season Wimmer was immense. Seems to have fallen out of favour though? Hard to see why considering he hasn't played but we'll need a similar set of performances if Toby's out for a bit.

Not losing away is the minimum, but I cannot let this lie because of where
Spurs must progress to. We know enough about Pulis-ball to deal with it, yet
we still allow it to occur like a slow-motion train crash.

Citeh couldn't deal with the ferocity of the press, so why would WBA ??
Players like N'Koudou AFAIK were not injured or on international duty, so
to rest the international returnees why not have the guts to START with him ??

Away draws are okay against WBA. They're just a ****ing menace of a team. They beat Arsenal and United last season. They ran Citeh and Leicester close, 2-3 in both games. We drew with them. They are a bunch of ****ers who do everything to destroy good football. Today's problem was not so much our general game but our finishing/Foster. That said, I agree about players not on international duty and I'd have played N'Koudou from half time at the very least. Lamela looking badly off colour at the moment.

  16. Davies was as good as anyone today and he continued to make some excellent runs throughout the game. Rose' absence wasn't that significant.
However, Lamela having a bad day coasting and losing position at times in the 2nd half certainly did.

Janssen needs to start scoring and we have to pray that Toby isn't too bad. Son made a big difference coming off the bench so a pity he didn't start.

If WBA had scored that goal a tad sooner...we would have turned it around.

I'm happy about today, long way to go. Showing grit will give the boys belief.

The 'McDirty Reducer' [Pat. Pending] may have had something to do with that, to be fair to the lad. If the referee saw that as a challenge for the ball, he's more blind than me and Mrs Trump combined.

Today sums up the difference between us and City: when we go behind we fight to score an equaliser - when City go behind, they look to win a penalty.

All but the confident PL teams are now bus-parking against Spurs.
Because they know we cannot consistently deal with it, and like WBA you may (nearly) prevail.
Oh to have the first 45 mins of an Arry era side combined with what we currently have.
