0-0 HT. Pulis will be the happier manager, in my opinion. We've dominated possession, territory, shots and pretty much everything else, but haven't scored. They'll continue in the same manner in the second half and hope that we switch off at the back. It's hard to tell if we need to change anything early on. We haven't created enough chances, in my opinion, but Foster's still made some good saves. Our energy levels aren't close to that of the City game, but that could well be down to our opponents. They've slowed things down and taken the sting out of the game whenever possible.
**** me How bad a 'tackle' was that? Late, high, scissors assault and it produces a yellow card? Nonsense.
Bit frustrating but we're playing well. Just a poor miss from Alli and a couple of great saves from Foster keeping us at bay so far. McLean is somehow allowed to make yet another leg breaker without getting a red. Hopefully we can bring a bit more intensity in the second half and get ourselves rolling.
Pulis-ball in a nutshell : Park the bus, frustrate the opposition. Hope they over-commit in trying to win the game + you get one chance to spoil the party.
