I am not to bothered about the result. Although I am hoping we can sneak a point here. I more want to see an improvement in performance, in set up and in the energy we bring to game. A sign that Bradley has lifted them.
Agreed TLF! My son is going so will be interested in hearing what he says after the game. The season for me now starts against Watford. Before that game we could be 8 played and only 4 pts - so 30 games to get 36 pts. That's doable. Lose at home to Watford and be 9 played and only 4 pts and we will be staring into the abyss....
I'd pick Naughton every time. Although Rangel is better going forward he has a terrible tendency to give the ball away and then look like he's towing a block of concrete behind him as he tries to get back.
Agree. This is a match we wouldn't expect much from under normal circumstances. Yes, we've done well there in the past, but that doesn't change the fact that it's Arsenal on their own patch. I also want to see that the attitude of the squad has changed and give everyone the belief that we can kick on from here.
After our last 2 away performances against Leicester and saints, which to be honest were both absolutely pathetic, I just hope that Bradley has put a bit of belief in them and not just to go and hang on for a 0-0. I don't expect us to go all out at them, I just want us to go there with the attitude that we are pl and we don't just have to try and hang on every away game. I am sure there will be an improvement today.
Fabianski Naughton Fernandez Amat Taylor Cork Britton Fer Barrow Sigurdsson Routledge No forward player! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37594169
Really doesn't fill me with confidence, not our strongest defence, not our strongest midfield (as siggy will be out of position) And our star striker summer transfer is on the bench.
Seems a negative set up once again, seriously just drop Cork, Fer, or Britton and allow Siggy to play in his preferred position and have a recognised striker up top. Siggy is a superb player but his hold up play is not great and in the past has struggled to play as a striker, he's most effective behind the striker picking up loose balls. Every swans fan and their dog knows this yet we still insist on playing him out of position.
Fuming with Taylor and Fernández coming back in. I had a suspicion Bradley might put them in to appease the fans thinking it's a way to get everyone onside but he's read it wrong. Can't think of another reason why he'd put them straight back in going off our performances in the last 2 games and Taylor's performances for Wales. He's a liability. I'll have to calm down a bit.
Well that is a little bit disappointing, appears he has fallen for Taylors building himself up and going with no striker is also disappointing. Seems very negative to go into a game without a recognised striker. Still that is what he has picked and it does seem to be the same old, lets play for a point. Shame he could have stamped his name on this or maybe he has and this is what we can expect in the future.
Taylor and Fernández back into the side? Well done Bob you will learn a valuable lesson in how these two dumbo's are going to cost you...........
