What a shambles they're making of some things.. I was on Lowgate today and watched two guys trying to mount a piece of ill measured vinyl to an arch above the entrance to the market. Measured by Stevie Wonder and secured with half a dozen cable ties. After 15 minutes the edges of the vinyl had rolled over. City of Culture, more like Council of Clowns. For an extra £30 they could have had the job done properly or at least presentably.

Does that mean that the East end of Jameson Street will be pedestrianised as that picture seems to suggest? And presumably the same for Prospect Street directly to the North of the square? I had no idea this was happening.

Yeah - there are the 'Urbex' crew; and then there are tatters, who are after booty.

    Presumably
Obviously they'll need to reroute buses, in which case you'd assume the pedestrianisation would get pushed back to Albion Steet, to avoid a dead end?
    Looks really good I think

Yeah I've got tickets for that too
its going to be huge in terms of Hull Rrucks normal shows. Much bigger cast than normal and in conjunction with RSC is s really good sign

I've been Dennis, excellent story and really good Hull accents & references right through it, family struggles for the truth echoes the long running Hillsborough families fight in how they coped over the decades. Like her father Alan often did Janet Plater also writes in great Hull City references running through the play. No eggchasing ****. Watersons Three Day Millionaires was very poignant. Highly recommended.

Just paid for Panto tickets from Box Office at City Hall.
£1.50 charge for payment on debit cards as well as credit cards.Never heard of that before.
The Council will make a fortune on City of Clutter ticketed events.
Any out of Towners will also incur a £1.20 postage fee for home delivery.

What was the father role like. Was any reference made to the fact that he was late call up as the original actor was involved in a serious accident a few weeks ago.?
