That sod MacDougall screwed up my moment of glory. The day in '71 I scored a hat-trick (one of only 2 I ever scored in my 40 plus years of playing), the bugger scored 9 for Bournemouth in an FA cup match. We were watching the results & reports coming through on Grandstand in the club bar and my team mates were calling me rubbish 'cos I'd only nabbed 3 ! Never forgave the bastard.
Apart from being well beaten by both Manchester clubs all Bournemouth's games this season have been tight, with never more than a goal separating the teams. If we show a bit of ambition we could get a really positive result today.
Is be surprised if the comment to the security guard didn't have more swearing in it She has a foul mouth...which is ****ing fine by me
Mason and Henriksen? Maybe Huddlestone instead of Henriksen, he had a torrid time for Norway during the break Unless MP thinks he is the type of character who comes back strongly from criticism ?
Regulation 4-0. To them. That's right. To them. We might get lucky, and get a 3-1 but I'm not hopeful at all. Phelan is out of his depth as the main decision maker and tactician. He's got his contract so he'll be happy. I expect few, if any changes, I expect us to not go for it, and I expect him to not change it when it's obvious it was a ****e set up from the start. I'd love to be proven wrong, and we see the team play the way they're capable of but I fear until we're sold and get a proper manager in, we're ****ed.
I would take a draw today, but we have done well against the lesser teams this season so might just scrap an unexpected win. Marshall Elmo Jake Curtis Robbo Huddlestone Clucas Mason Snodders Hernandez Dio or Keane
