Michael Dawson is playing tonight, and then will help MP at Bournemouth tomorrow. Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham 10m10 minutes ago Michael Dawson will play for #hcafc's under-23s tonight and then help Mike Phelan at Bournemouth tomorrow.
3-0 still with half hour to play. Good to see the youngesters doing so well, Bowen looks to be scoring every time he plays. He's some prospect.
Just back from the game, apart from the hassle getting there with the fair traffic an enjoyable evening. City dominated really from start to finish, and with Dawson at the back, it showed really where this term the weakness has been in the middle of the defence. Harvey Rodgers seems to also benefit fro having Dawson along side him, and TWS were restricted to only one or two half chances all game. All 4 goals were well worked, and Bowen again showed is quality, as a stand out performer. He scored the first goal, with a good finish with his left foot to go in 1-0 up at half time. Mckenzie made it two quite soon into the second half, with a well taken header that was a bit behind him, but managed to get is header on target. The third came from a corner from the left which beat everyone in the centre of the goal, and Annan met it at the far post to bundle it in. The fourth was also a well worked move with Mckenzie heading down to Olley who finished well. What a joy to give the TWS a mauling.
Some decent stuff. And for any who make it to the first team they will have the advantage of having experienced the atmosphere of the KC so it shouldn't affect them too much.
Bowen, Tymon and probably Olley have a chance, and yes it is good they get a chance to play at the KC, and there was a few hundred there watching, so not a bad turn out.
