Back to Tv - watched the whole series of Deutschland 83 a fortnight ago over the weekend. Outstanding. How close we actually did come, btw, to nuclear meltdown over operation Able Archer.
No they're not all racists. There's about half a dozen subplots and it actually highlights people's prejudices rather than outright racism for most. The film has far more depth to it than you're making out. For example the way the opening murder and end scene has nothing to do with racism. The victim and his brother's relationship is nowt to do with either being racist. Even the issue with the Iranian chap is less to do with racism and more to do with cultural clash as Sky has said. Basically you're an arse. And a welsh one at that.
Watched the Infiltrator last night. I thought it was suspenseful Bryan Cranston was great as was the guy who plays his partner Diane Kruger looked hot #iwould 7/10
Yeah, I gave it 6.5. Cranston was sound, and the scene with the witch-doctor was eeirie, but it just wasn't as good as some of the hype, imo. Thought it would be a cross between Breaking Bad and Narcos, but it wasn't. Worth watching though.
T2 on itv4 at the mo, still such a great movie, T1 is my personal favorite of the lot Things i cant wait for TWD GoT prometheus 2 or as i believe its been named Alien: covenant guardians of the galaxy 2 a decent copy of deepwater horizon Dunkirk Thor ragknarnkkn rogue one
Yeah it thought it would be terrible but it's midweek so crack on but like you say it was an enjoyable film to watch.
Didn't really like it that much. Maybe cause i was on a plane. I understand the animals are meant to be a metaphor or could be taken as such. Just didn't feel like i enjoyed it
One of my all-time favourites. The cinematography is stunning, but it's a deeply spiritual film, like an abstract piece of art in terms of what you get out of it. Ang Lee is a clever bastard, everyone gets some different meaning from events/characters in the film.
