Why couldn't he do it away? Anyone can put 10 of the most expensive players in the world behind the ball and get a draw. He couldn't even make it 2 home games undefeated at Man Utd #exposed
As far as I am aware we have never done that, we usually let players go pretty cheap once we have done with them or for a good price if we wanted to keep them but they wanted out. Why do you ask?
Can't make it any simpler for you dude, did they end up with 54p worth of goods for a 34p outlay or not? If not please feel free to explain.
No idea, I really hope you are not trying to bring wages into this because I would just point out they had the use for those wages. We are talking transfer fees only, did they get 54 worth of item for 34 outlay or not?
Yep, he didn't want to be here so we let them go for a reasonable price given his performance's. What's the point you are trying to make?
Reasonable price? You were robbed by both him and PSG, Utd paid almost 60m for 32 appearances and 4 goals, apparently it makes no difference what he was sold for because net spend is irrelevant.
You posted the scenario yet you have no idea of the total outgoings????????? Were you the accountant for hicks and gillette?
Correct, we bought, he failed, we sold. **** happens and it probably won't be the last time in football (see Balotelli and Carroll for details)
How about, Utd overpaid for an overhyped player and wasted money that could have been better spent elsewhere within the club. I'd have mentioned his overinflated wages but apparently they don't matter.
But its your scenario so maybe you can confirm, Three purchases of 30, 50 and 24 yes/no? So what is the total of the purchases?
And that kind of thinking is why Liverpool have failed in the top flight of English football for 26 years. You have to take a chance sometimes in life. Wages don't enter into it, you pay somebody for what you think they will do for you (that is why I never mentioned Balo or Carrolls wages or many others like Enrique) Like I said, **** happens. Sometimes you buy a player cheap like Ronaldo or Suarez and make a huge profit on them, sometimes you buy a dud.
Now I know you are either well pissed or taking it. How much did Chelsea pay out of their pocket for two players at the end of transactions?
So its chelsea now then, if you are changing the scenario you will have to confirm that we are still talking of three purchases: 30p 50p 24p Yes or no?
wow.. other than at the times. ronaldo was a pretty expensive player and suarez was a competitively expensive player at 23mil in 2010. the simple fact is both football's exponential rate of inflation and player performance comes into it. Lets be frnak here.. you are making rubbish up on the wum Could could simply point out benteke cost 32.5 million and was an utter flop and LFC only wanted to pay 25 but villa held out. Inflation over one year meant LFC could hold out for 32mil back.. Football transfers and profit have so many aspects to them. timing, performance, initial investment, pay back over time etc etc. I personally would rather laugh at utd's di maria transfer which was a disaster rather than pogbas which currently still has ample time over 5 years to become a good deal for all parties. WHo knows in 3 years you might be selling to real madrid for 150mil cos he actually want sot finally win something and you will be happy to trouser the masses of shirt sales gullible fans bought and effectively paid his fee with.
