What was with the booing at the end of the game last night. Ok we lost, it was the first game of the season. It has been discussed about certain players performances, so I partly agree with and some I don't. But to boo the full team at the end of the first game of the season is bang out of order. It's going to be an extremely long season if you thing we're going to win every game (which I presume everyone booing is expecting), the team didn't play bad and there were only a few mistakes. IMHO UTT
There was booing? I was in E4, and I genuinely didn't hear, but I was in a stinker of a mood, so it's possible I just blocked it out.
The only time, imho, that fans should boo their players is at half-time or at full time, and ONLY if it OBVIOUS the players aren't trying. That was a million miles away from the situation last night, so anyone booing is, by definition, not a FANatic of this football club.
I was in upper West there was definetely booing, two old guys behind me were being right negative bastards throughout the game. It always spoils it for me hearing someone whinge throughout the whole game. Fair enough a groan or two at a loose pass, but they just seemed to be attending so they could whinge.
I heard some last night. I think everyone was disappointed last night but it wasn't like the lads didn't try and we would have won the game had we got those shots on target.
I heard the Booing too, it was 1 game, if they dont like what they saw, dont bother comming back! Instead of booing, use your voices to cheer the guys on, as the atmosphere last night was the usual rubbish self!!
The ones booing ended up on here spouting a load of drivel with the Blunderside listeners after the game
Dont get me started on the numptys on Blunderside last night! Some of theses fans need to get a reality check!
I was in E1 and didn't hear any booing, but i did scarper pretty quickly after giving the players a quick clap
I don't understand why any fans would have booed. Yes we lost but there plenty of positives. We created plenty of chances (despite the stupidly biased view of SSN this morning) and could have scored at least 4 goals (fryatt 2, barmby one, cairneys free kick). The only things that let me down last night was the poor finishing and Hobbs' inability to kick a football accurately.
I put something on another thread about the booing, just couldn't believe how negative some people can be.
We have some right gloom and doom merchants as fans, thats for sure. Next time we lose will keep off the site for a few days and avoid all the cringeworthy comments.
I was in E3 and I heard a few booing, but i did hear the first chant of "boring boring city" from our resident rascist billy big mouth 29 minutes into the game. I was hoping he would piss off after last season, he showed no love for city all season. B*****D
There was definately Booing and I just though WTF ??? As has been pointed out we werent brilliant but we werent that bad either if we'd buried a couple of the good chances it should have been a different story but we got beat a goal from one of the few times blackpool actually threatened our goal. I was guuted but there was no need for booing 45 more to go yet
