An obvious one ... Funding a TV station and initiatives across Scotland is a waste of money ... ****in Gaelic street and train station signs ... in the weedge
There's plenty of other things that money is wasted on that come nowhere near protecting something that has been spoken in Scotland for millenia.
And ... Still doesn't mean that millions spent on initiatives across Scotland for 55k people , who mainly live on the islands and highlands is a good use of public money and the licence fee . Overall, all initiatives and bodies , the annual budget is about 20m
**** sake it's a few milllion. As Aldo said, go have a look at the BBC budget. Keeping an ancient language alive is a great thing and should be encouraged.
20m No it shouldn't ...not across the Scotland as a whole. Let Highlands and Islands council budget for it ...
It's the BBC. There's loads of ****e on it I don't like, that's what happens. It's like your taxes. Some of it is spent on **** you'd rather your money wasn't wasted on. Did you see the Queen is getting a new boat? £100m.
BBC are wasting cash on it So is the Scottish government as well I'd do away with her funding ...another pointless use of public cash
