It'll be interesting to see how he does with that wealth of attacking talent. In his four years here we always had a decent team but never had a proper set of strikers apart from the few months when Jelavic and Long were here together.
Aston Villa FC @AVFCOfficial New arrival: We are delighted to announce that Stephen Clemence has today joined us as first team coach. #AVFC
Now he;s got hit 'big club' lets see how good he is.... Lets have a sweep on how many games they score more than 2 in for the rest of there season.
Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham Told Gary Walsh will not be joining Aston Villa. He's expressed his desire to remain with #hcafc as goalkeeping coach.
Appointing him as our number 2 would have made no difference. Bruce has looked after him well. It was obvious he would go.
I appreciate what he did whilst here but he's gone now and he's already taken our assistant. There will be more to follow. He can get ****ed if he thinks I'm wishing him luck. I hate Villa and hope he gets them relegated, losing his job in the process.
I am not aware why this anatomical feature of Steve Clemence is considered newsworthy just because he is leaving for Villa. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/step...-aston-villa/story-29806465-detail/story.html
His issue is now trying to fit them all into a side, as he has a lot of attacking talent but trying to balance that will be quite hard. I reckon he will be fine, he has been about long enough to understand that division better than anyone. If the brief is to get them up he will do it, if it is to do it by winning the league and scoring the most goals etc... he might not be the man.
