He un-ignored me, read my posts, replied. Then put me back on ignore Only @Matth_2014 would do that and think it made sense.
Not today you haven't. When you get 5 of these shiny badges below, you can start a thread. Rule #8 of the Not606 Jungle rules and regulations handbook...did Luvvy give you one when you started posting on the PL board by the way? I'm on 3 stars...2 more for me. Well done on your first one Matthew. please log in to view this image
I'm sure it's all been arranged with the interests of supporters uppermost in the minds of those responsible. I'm guessing these games will all be shown on Sky? So we can be pretty sure they'll have spent a lot of time considering how to avoid inconveniencing the average supporter. I'm glad you've enjoyed your monday night games. I support Saints, live in London, and work shifts so I really can't see me ever making one.
I know, but to me it's part of a bigger picture. There's a reason football traditionally kicked off at 3.00pm on a Saturday - because that's when the greatest number of people can get to games. I understand midweek kick-offs to reduce fixture congestion, and I enjoy the added buzz of Cup and European games midweek under floodlights. But Friday and Monday night football, not to mention 4.00pm on a Sunday? That's part of a deeper issue; the fact that the TV companies have been dictating to the PL since it's inception, with little or no regard for the average supporter.
Listen, Spurlock, you're not the moderator on this board, until i'm told otherwise, I won't be listening to you. You don't make the rules on this board, the moderators do.
I agree to a point but football on TV is there for the wider audience. The TV companies drive it because they make money, the clubs also make money from it but at times it's not the best decision for fans who want to attend games. The wider audience though also has to be catered for and I like the fact that there's so much of it on TV. Should the Friday and Saturday showings be scrapped? Yes without question, there was no need to add these fixtures to the TV schedule. I don't think it should all go though and having that one Monday night game was never a problem until the greed kicked in and they added to it.
Does anyone really care about United v 'Pool any more? Two washed-up middle-of-the-table sides hoof-balling it out to a pointless result? I'm hoping it ends in a lacklustre draw, so that we can go three points ahead of 'Pool. Apart from that... meh.
