    Both were printed in Dundee. Most old British comics were. D C Thomson are the culprits.

    Today's media Silence is testimony to what we've all been saying for the last 5 years & many of us even longer! The underhand corrupt actions towards our Great Club is Orchestrated quite simply by Bitter Rangers Haters, a stinking evil hatred for the TRUE dominant footballing champions of Scotland .

    This today didn't surprise many of us but it is only scratching the surface on Corrupt FC .

    The Soft CO OP Loans
    The Lennoxtown Land Deal
    The Barrowfield Land Deal with GCC
    Desmond & O'briens Financial corruption in the ROI

    ILL say what every Rangers fan tonight is thinking, there better be action taken by the SFA on this, we are not so twisted enough to ask for their titles but if they are not demoted down the divisions as we were there is going to be huge trouble in this country , trouble like they have never seen before .

    And the blame for that trouble ? It will lie solely at the door of all those Haters in The Media, The Political World & the whole of Scottish Football .

    James Traynor, the last real journalist of Scottish football.
    Let's get one thing straight, I don't always agree with James Traynor as there have been several things he has written in anti-Rangers articles in the past . Upon deeper reflection however, there would be something wrong if I DID agree with everything he had written. Traynor writes from the heart and what he writes is what he is.
    Traynor is probably the grand old man of Scottish football journalism and for that reason alone, his thoughts should carry a lot of weight. There is this myth that Scottish football journalism enjoyed some great heyday in the sixties and seventies, when the standard of journalism (like the football on the field) was much higher than today. Let me just bring a few names to your attention. Gerry McNee........yes, remember him? The only man who enjoyed the distinction of being slapped by both Graeme Souness and Billy McBungle. This bigot has ghost-written more Celtic players' autobiographies than you or I have had hot dinners. McNee could never resist the temptation of presenting Rangers as being the sole reason for sectarianism, violence and greed in Scottish football. A bitter, bitter individual who seems to have thankfully disappeared from sight.
    Next up, Ian Archer. "Alkie" Archer in his rare moments of sobriety, managed to pen some of the most poisonous, vitriolic diatribes concerning our great club. Archer always managed like McNee, to spin lies and fabrications without any response.

    Traynor represents the last of that generation, a genuine working class lad from Airdrie who learnt his trade the hard way, covering 'wee games' on dreich February nights and honing his writing skills. Compare him with middle class twerp Graham Speirs who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. After having failed to complete his degree at the prestigious St Andrews University, the smelly one stumbled unqualified into mainstream Scottish journalism.(Did daddy have the right connections Graham?)

    It's interesting that when you compare their backgrounds, you see that they really do represent two different generations. Traynor began his career when newspaper sales in Scotland (the Daily Rebel in particular) were among the highest in the world (per capita of the total population). Since those halcyon days, chip wrappers like the rebel have shrunk to pitiful levels partially due to the dreadful standard of most Scottish scribblers. Of course, there have been other important factors, but anyone trying to compare the likes of Speirs, Waddell, etc, to the likes of Hugh McIlvanney are having a laugh.

    I am proud and feel reassured that such a figure as Jim Traynor is employed by Rangers as he will fight like a pit bull for our interests and will not bow down to the bigots.To quote the former US President L.B. Johnson;
    "It is better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in".
