How can a Country of 321 million people come up with an option of Clinton or Trump to lead them <doh>

You remember the famous hanging chads.

He won Florida and thus the presidency from Gore by 521 "votes" - hanging chads <cheers>

Might be in a minority of one here, but I'm gonna miss O'Bama, the first Irish USA President.

The people of Syria might not agree with you.

Obama has been an unmitigated disaster.

Not a fan of Obama, but might have something to do with the senate never playing ball with him?

Did anyone see Lily Allen with that 13-year-old Syrian kid?

I'm going to donate to the poor boy's cause: I'll buy him a razor for his 5 o'clock shadow.

    Utter joke.

That's almost as bad as David Cameron apologising on behalf of Britain for the Slave Trade.

I get it, it's a dark stamp on our history, but lets us not forget William Wilberforce and his work, at least 100 years (or more) before it was banished in the USA and god knows what else. I was talking with someone saying it wasn't the common working people who were involved in it. It was the rich ****ers who are in this country of ours (like Cameron's ancestors and the Royal Family).

His apology should have been. "I personally apologise, and apologise on behalf of all the rich people and the Royal Family, who profited from the Slave Trade over the eras. The 1% that was involved. I ask that you find it in your hearts to forgive us, even though we're still enslaving you all!"

If Lilly Allen had any sense, she should be blasting the Arms providers who profit from war. ****ing hate it, how they always say: "Sorry we got no money for education, or scientific progress, or cancer treatment, and the health service" but they got money in the sum of £1billion per day to waste on war!

    Blah! Rant Over.

Ms Allen's comments don't seem worth getting in a lather about. Mind you Daily Mail readers are always in a lather by the time they're half way through it.:emoticon-0121-angry

I spoke to an American work colleague yesterday who told me that we are now in "Reagan v Mondale" territory for November's election.

Some very unexpected states will go HC that night.

When you think of the people the Donald has insulted, like John McCain, the parents of the Muslim soldier killed in action, it's quite surreal that his campaign has got this far. It's as though he's been pushing the boundaries of finding out just how stupid Americans are.

I think his "grab the pussy" remark was a gaffe too far.

A whole army of Mrs Slocombe's was offended.
