    I went to that game at Wembley :). I took my old man who loved NFL, his favourite player was John Riggins from Washington Redskins. I used to go with him to watch the London Monarchs play as well.

    John Riggins was just a bit before my time. I got into American Football when Channel 4 launched and covered it on Sunday nights. Do you remember that programme ? They used to play 'Two Tribes' when they did the scores round up

    arrived in Washington last night - off to see White House etc today.

    will try to get tickets for Nationals game on Thursday.

    I had to get an extra bag and suitcase as Mrs G4E has gone shopping mad - and we haven't hit New York yet !!

    Broadway and 5th is the Mecca for shopping in NYC. But basically the whole of Manhattan south from 72nd st is shopping central. If you get a chance, try and head out to Bleaker st and into Greenwich village. Lots of good bars, restaurants and independent shops.
