Not long to go before it falls apart then. We're leaving in a few months.

Pound up on news that parliament will debate Brexit.

Whilst the pound was due a drop, it's impossible to deny how far is related to the anticipated deal post brexit

So the below comment isn't related to Brexit?

"It really isn't terribly complicated. If we are outside the EU and we don't have what would be a stable and long-term commitment to access the single market then a lot of the things we do today in London, we'd have to do inside the EU 27," he said.

hahaha, so that comment was a direct result of a 'fragile system' and not a direct result of us potentially losing our access to the single market and financial passporting as a direct result of Brexit?

Seriously, your head has gone if you don't understand the direct correlation.

Yeah, she's desperately trying to cling on to the power she clearly always wanted. But she's weak and hapless, and nowhere near firm enough on things.

Trouble is, she's trying to keep both sides of her warring party happy. If she goes for the sensible option, she'll have those clowns Davis and Fox ( and to some extent, that snake in the grass, Boris.), trying to unseat her. If she goes with the hard Brexit mob, she'll probably have an open revolt of her own party in the commons.

A taste of which we saw last night.,

... are you suggesting that the Conservative party is currently in a shambolic state over this? ... perhaps even equally as, or even more, shambolic than the loony lefties of Labour? ... Pete is gonna be livid ... the (British) steak and ale pies in Greggs will be in short supply once his comfort eating binge is finished <laugh>

Which is exactly what you're trying to put an end to.

If the EU collapses, illegal immigration into this country will go ballistic.

Far too sensible an answer for this thread. Do you not understand that everything bad that's happening is the fault of Brexit!!
Was watching the news this morning and a woman was being interviewed about the increase in fuel prices at the pump. Of course her immediate response was the fall of the £ verses the $. Three times she was given the opportunity to balance her argument with the fact that the price of a barrel of oil has increased by around $5 since June and OPEC have agreed to reduce production, to drive costs up even further, but it was all Down to Brexit!!
This is why I generally ignore the sensationalist headlines produced every day.

Labour renews pressure for Brexit vote with 170 questions

Labour has renewed pressure on ministers to set out their Brexit strategy to MPs before formal negotiations begin.
The party will stage a Commons debate on Wednesday on a motion calling for "proper scrutiny" of discussions.
Ahead of this, Labour asked the government 170 questions on Brexit, including on trading relationships and migration rules.
The government promised Parliament an "important role" in discussions.
Ministers are facing calls to set out more detail on what they want Brexit to look like before triggering Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty next year, allowing the country to leave the EU.
Little is known so far about plans for migration and trade with the EU.
Some senior politicians - including former Labour leader Ed Miliband - are demanding a full vote on the UK's negotiating stance ahead of full discussions with the EU beginning.

Ever since the referendum, the Labour leadership has been criticised by pro-EU backbenchers for not doing enough to scrutinise the government's plans for leaving the European Union.
But now the new shadow minister for Brexit, Sir Keir Starmer - along with Emily Thornberry - seems to be making up for lost time.

Theresa May's immediate response to developments was "... I still have the most cake don't I?"
