This was soo obviously going to happen to Leicester. I predicted they would finish 8th and I still think thats about right.
United draw 1-1 at home against the Mighty Stoke City. That's what happens when you rest on a one goal lead and don't kill off the game. That being said, I genuinely cannot wait to hear Mourinho's whining and complaining and moaning in the post-match interview! I live for Mourinho Meltdowns !
England playing a flat four in midfield. Southgate is just another Allardyce/McClaren/Hodgson. You will never win a major tournament with these tactics. Regardless of players.
This international break in particular has been more painful than most, some truly awful teams and awful games.
It really is boring these qualifications, I wonder how many people are interested, I can't imagine many. They need to do away with this nonsense and follow a cricket type format. All the top countries go through and the ****ty ones battle through their own qualification and a select go through.
Although it kind of goes against the spirit of competition, I have to agree. The international qualifiers are ****ing boring at best, and at worst they disrupt the premier league and our flow, plus there's always the fear of players picking up injuries.
It does but it's quite pointless, how many times have the lesser nations gone through? Very rarely. As you've mentioned, it really disrupts all teams domestically at the highest level. Rather than making players participate in pointless fillers, how about's bring a proper winter break and rejuvinate the players, rather than tiring them the hell out and having them below par in the actual tournament.
Arsenal fans ain't bothered about other teams until they start getting overtaken by them in March/April
we will already be way out of sight from you by then, and jose will be picking up his big pay of long before then
I don't doubt it. The disappointment's easier to take when you still have Christmas to look forward to
i started watching it, then fell into a coma after 20 mins, just woke up, seriously that was a complete bore fest, particularly as sky had been building it up for over a week, thought it was going to be the greatest show on earth the way they were talking.
It was a typical Mourinho away in a big game performance... Overly defensive, niggling fouls, kill the pace of the game as often as possible, make it difficult for anyone to play good football. Got the point he wanted but not a particularly exciting game to watch for the neutral.
Don't get giddy, last year was a 13 year high for you (2nd), to teams like United, City and Chelsea that is a fail.
To Utd 2nd would be a success given your recent level of failure. Chelsea would take 2nd if you offered it to them. City are probably the only one of those 3 teams who would think they had failed if they ended 2nd. Also if 2nd is considered a fail for all of the top teams then most top teams spend most of there time failing.
The audacity from Maureen saying that Liverpool wasn't all that after he resorted to parking an Airbus A380 in front of his goal. It's a disgrace how they can spend so much and produce such a dire performance. Fergie probably choked on his black label watching Manure on the weekend.
