I can come out from behind the sofa now - thank goodness it`s back to proper football again at the weekend.
Hopefully now people will realise what an awful manager Southgate is. Only proper job in the game was with Boro, and he relegated them. Now he's in charge of the national team. ****ed.
I see you as a second tier european team, on the same level as Croatia. Somebody who mostly beats the teams from the third tier (Ireland, Turkey, Slovenia ecc.), capable of occasionally matching in a single match teams from the first tier (Spain, Germany ecc.), usually qualifies to major tournaments, but when there does nothing.
Oh bloody dear.........Sturrridge is about as useful as a spare prick at a wedding.(sorry ladies). In truth I only watched the last 10 minutes of each half. In truth I wish I hadn't same ol same ol very few had a clue..........oh woe is me.......
Walcott and Lingard are just not good enough. Both lightweight as ****. Townsend, Oxo-Cham, Rashford, Vardy should all have been picked ahead of them. Yet they both start in both games. Wtf is that all about?! Diabolical selections.
Pitiful. Can't England just hurry up and get knocked out of the qualifiers so we don't have to put up with all the crap. I was willing Slovenia to win FFS.
Croatia have more technical ability. England is great a producing quantity but not very good at producing the quality.
Where have all the skilful players gone? There is not one English player with the creativity of Alan Ball, with the beauty of David Rocastle, the trickery of Terry Paine, the intelligence of Kevin Keegan, the magic of John Barnes. England have not produced a great player since Gascoigne save maybe Paul Scholes and Frank Lampard!!
Forgot about him. Pity he wasn't allowed to perform on the International stage or did England have such enormous talent then that is was difficult to find a pace for him?
The core of this side are babes of the academy system. The biggest criticism facing academies is that youngsters are over coached and almost carbon copies. Kids are taught percentage football. I don't know if that's a fair criticism or not, but I can't argue with the evidence that the majority of the worlds most skilled players grew up playing street football and didn't receive structured coaching until secondary school age
Jeez, you forgot.? Get up those stairs and don't come out of your room until you've seen the error of your ways, m'lad.
